God’s Work In Me

I will be graduating this year and have been thinking about my time at youth group coming to an end. It has been an awesome ride. I have been blessed in so many ways by being involved.

First I have learned to read my Bible more consistently. I have also gained courage to pray for complete strangers and experienced God’s power as they were healed. We do a thing called “treasure hunting” where we listen to God’s leading and pray for who He leads us to. This has been a great lesson for me about breaking off fear to spread God’s Kingdom.

Another awesome testimony in my life from my experience with youth group is the time the group prayed for me and my asthma was completely healed. I have not had any attacks since! What I have seen first hand points to the unbelievable power of Jesus Christ that no one can take away from me.

Lastly, as a youth group we recently attended a Jesus Culture event together. It was a great time to grow deeper in our relationship with God. We experienced the moving of the Holy Spirit and the freedom to dance with abandon during times of worship. We were able to bring this back to our church and, encouraged by our leaders, keep pursuing God and seeking who heaven says that we are. I received encouragement to advance in my giftings and have seen my prophetic art become more annointed. God is so good!
